This placeholder explains the privacy principles SpaceScope is built around. It should be reviewed and replaced with final legal language before launch.
Local file scanning
SpaceScope is designed to scan storage locally on your Mac. The names and contents of files discovered during a scan are not uploaded to SpaceScope servers.
SpaceScope does not delete files automatically. You review and confirm selections before files are moved to macOS Trash.
License information
License activation may require limited device and purchase information to confirm that a Pro license is active on one Mac at a time. This information should be limited to what is necessary to provide and protect the license.
Website information
The SpaceScope website may process basic technical information needed to deliver the site and complete a purchase. Any future analytics or payment providers will be described here before launch.
Your choices
You can remove scanned items from the SpaceScope selection at any time. Files moved to macOS Trash remain subject to the controls and settings provided by macOS.
